PING G425 LST Driver 445cc

The LST model is designed with a pear-shaped, 445cc head to greatly reduce spin, a benefit for faster-swing-speed players. A proprietary T9S+ forged face accelerates face flexing for more distance. The head employs a 17-gram CG shifter with Draw, Neutral, Fade settings to fit your swing and desired ball flight. Available in 9 and 10.5.

Lower Spin

The pear-shaped, 445cc head reduces spin approximately 200-400 rpm compared to the G410 LST, promoting a flatter, lower-launching trajectory for faster swing speeds. A 17-gram CG shifter can be set to Draw, Neutral or Fade to fit your swing and desired ball flight.

Fast Design

Internal Dragonfly

With Dragonfly technology, weight savings from the Ti 8-1-1 ultra-thin crown are redistributed within the head and back weight to increase MOI and optimize the CG for more distance and forgiveness.

Internal Ribbing

PING engineers developed an internal rib structure in the Ti 8-1-1 body, reinforcing key sections of the head to improve acoustics for a solid, pleasing sound and better feel.

Aldila Rogue White delivers smooth, stable feel and low spin on a low/mid trajectory. Mitsubishi Tensei AV Orange is mid/high trajectory, low spin, and counter-balanced for stability, control.

Trajectory Tuning Chart

The lightweight, 8-position hosel enables adjustments for loft (1.5) and lie (3 flatter than std.) to further dial in your ball flight for the best results.

Stock Shaft

The PING Alta CB Slate is counter-balanced with an 8-gram plug in the end to deliver more momentum and forgiveness for increasing ball speed and distance.

Shaft

To get the most distance from your driver, you must optimize the launch angle and spin rate of the ball by selecting the proper loft and shaft flex for your swing speed. Generally, golfers with slower swing speeds require more-lofted drivers and more-flexible shafts to achieve the proper launch conditions. Conversely, golfers with faster swing speeds generally require lower-lofted drivers and firmer shafts.

Grips

PING offers a variety of grip sizes and styles to fit different hand sizes and texture preferences. Since grip size influences your wrist action, and therefore the direction of your shots, it is commonly used by fitters to affect ball flight.

PING color-coded grips are available in six different diameters, and can be further customized with grip tape according to your needs. Once the neutral grip color code has been determined based on hand measurements, golfers may consider smaller diameter grips to help control fades and slices, or larger diameter grips to help control draws and hooks.
